1970 Kellogg's Joel Horlen PSA 9 Will Be Posted Within 24 Hours

First and foremost, thanks (sarcastically) to Shane/1954 for letting the cat out of the bag regarding the most recent Horlen card. Should he ever pull this type of caper again, I shall let each and every one of you know just how "elegant" Shane can be while dining at Gibson's Steakhouse during the Chi-town Nationals. At least he now knows what the "big hard thing in the middle" is (yes, Shane, like the waiter said, that is the bone). And please, don't ever ask for a "dip cup" at a five-star restaurant. And NEVER start a food fight with a Hall-of-Fame hockey legend.

Secondly, a sincere thank you to the plethora of great people on this board for sending me an email regarding this card. I have sold to many of you, and I truly enjoy it. It's very difficult for me to say no to the very generous offers. However, I think it's in my best interest as well as everybody else's to "let it ride" on ebay to give everybody an equal shot. Never in a million years would I have thought this card would be worth more than the cost of grading. Do you guys have any idea how much beer this allows me to consume???

Finally, the Horlen card, as well as many other PSA 9 cards, will be listed on ebay no later than Friday night. Good luck to all, and to all a good night.
It's all good...

  • According to Shane, it's called a "Porterfield."
    It's all good...
  • Shane has also been known to have placed an order for "Pie Ala Mode" and as the server said she would have it right out he asked "can you put ice cream on that?

Really funny guys. I am not going to waste my time on these false comments. How did you like the Nationals Rakovan? Oh, I forgot you played Golden Tee and drank beer the three days you were in Chicago. You drunk hippie.

THE FLOGGINGS WILL CONTINUE UNTIL MORALE IMPROVES
  • That's right, the dam bastages.

Of course Gemmint was in there bidding!
  • Check Out the Horlen 9 now - Have you guys really enticed Gaspipe to get in on the action? Bob C; Are you collecting this set now or are you just caught in the 3D tractor beam? ;-)
RayB69Topps and a K club member just for fun.
Never met a Vintage card I didn't like!

  • << <i>3D tractor beam >>

    RayB - I like that!

I would like to know about Gaspipe's bidding too. Maybe his horse has been winning a lot of dough lately so Gaspipe wants to diversify in a quality set.
  • Yet another sees the light ! (in 3-D no less!)

  • This may sound just a touch extreme, but it needs to be said...

'70 KELLOGG'S ARE TAKING OVER THE PLANET!
  • Gemmint - Just please dont tell me that you guys serve Koolaid at any of those 3D functions! ...And how may 70'K cards do I need anyway before I can stop saying "...you guys" and just say "We"?

  • Gemmint - Thats Great! LOL!! I think you should make that your new icon!
RayB69Topps and 3D magic just for fun

  • It would be a great icon, but I would have to give up my Star Trek 3-D Tractor Beam icon. The Kellogg's Revolution can't take that risk.

  • OUCH !!! The final ring on the Horlen was $212.51 .... What is interesting is that Nailman Bid $210.00 and he already has one ! He Outbid me for for about $150 if I remember correctly..... I may have to sit this one out for a while....

  • OH MY GOD!!

  • I also see that a Kranepool PSA 9(card #1) went for $113.
