Question for you Roosevelt Guys -

Sorry, I guess I ended up posting in the wrong forum...

original thread: http://forums.collectors.com/messageview.cfm?catid=7&threadid=125002

Anyway, I'd appreciate any input, as I don't even know much about Kennedies, much less the Roosevelt.

Edit:
To save bandwidth - I just linked to the other post.

    Dan,

I'm not a Roosevelt guy, but the 64 coins are pretty common. They're too nice to waste, so I'd save them for a rainy day. The only 64s I've sent in were because of toning I liked, and I didn't figure I could sell them for much. Hope that helps.image

    Dan,

If you want to get an idea of market value, just check my auctions. I have three of these closing tomorrow.

If you could get them in PCGS 70DCAM holders, they would be worth several thousand. It's funny how the price spreads down by a few points. PR69DCAM's for 1964 for $100 to $150, and so on.

I collect Roosevelts because I like them, regardless of market value. There are truly some nice Roosevelts out there, and you don't have to appreciate them with your wallet.

    Hope this helps!
