NOW I know where I've seen this Kennedy before!

I knew, somewhere in the back of my mind I had seen this Kennedy before. Offered somewhere. But, where? Then it hit me. This coin WAS in a SEGS MS68 holder last year! I remember it was a topic here and Keith Dagen, you remember this one, right? Keith and I even PM'ed about it because the color is unusual (and a bit suspect in a SEGS holder).
The MS68 grade seemed amazing though and I was drawn to bid but the Reserve must have been over $1,000.00 as the coin never did sell (offered on eBay twice, I believe).
Well, I almost feel like this one is an old friend. Nice to see it again!
It's just funny how out of millions of Kennedies this one would turn up in different holders, over a year apart.

Can you link the Heritage piece referenced?
Pat,
This one is definitely distinct with that band of white down the middle. If I had to guess, end roll piece with something stuck over the middle that kept the toning from that area. Loose roll allowed for a lot of reverse toning. In this scan, looks like a solid 67 based on the cheek and the tail feathers/shield regions.
Here's the Heritage auction. You should remember it. When it was running, you said you bid in it at their site.
