I see you conveniently deleted my post and also must have forgotten to send me that PM. I don't want to attack you or anything else, i just want an answer, as do many others, as to why you let Bobstar do what he does. He intentionally starts arguments and baits members he doesn't like so that when they attack him back, he can just run to you and have them booted. I understand that this is a moderated forum, BUT things have always went rather well because it wasn't too regulated, and has never really gotten out of hand like it has now. But now you have let Bobstar go mad with power, to the point that he is BRAGGING on other posts about how "easy" it was to get Ryan and others kicked off, and how it "wasn't even a challenge" and is threatening other members that he'll do the same to them. That is BS to give that arrogant jerk an ounce of say in anything, as he is abusing his influence on you, and i hope you realize that, and realize that BOBSTAR CAUSES MOST OF THE PROBLEMS HERE, ESPECIALLY THE ONES TAKING PLACE LATELY. You can do like you did before and hide and delete this, or you can just kick me off TOO, but people here deserve to know why this BS is going on, and we'll keep this up until we get answers. Good traders are getting booted just because that jerk does not like them or agree with what they have to say and baits them into arguments so he can get you to boot them, and that is WRONG

    evryone needs to know why all this is happening look at this place everyone is turning against everyone for know reason except bobstar is saying little and doing alot.........i agree this is bs why havn't we got some kinda of reason for these actions

    People are not being kicked off of CU because Bobstar wanted them gone....they are getting kicked off because they posted messages that contained offensive material that violated the rules/regulations of this website that you agreed to when you signed up.

    It's that simple - it's obvious you have a personal beef with Bobstar but you are making this way too confusing. It's not about freedom of speech, akafocus, Bobstar, off-topic threads, or anything else......don't post messages that contain profanity or discuss potentially offensive topics and everyone will be fine.

    The only thing that Bobstar has to do with it is he is reporting the offenses to CU management. He has no authority to boot people off the system. Anybody who has a membership on this site could report it....you are giving Bobstar way to much credit/responsibility. Once again, it's very simple....do not post anything offensive or break the CU membership rules and there is not a single thing that Bob or any other member can do to get you kicked off this site....

    Why is this so hard to understand for everyone?

    KLS, no problems with you, and I don't want any. Just one serious question. I would like to know if C.J. is a real person? Bobstar said he is, and that he doesn't like talking to foulmouths, so he just talks to good people via PM. Have you ever gotten a PM from him, or is this just something like when a little kid has an imaginary friend. Because I don't know of one single person that has had any kind of a conversation with this CJ character.image

    Its simple when you think about it. It is much easier to blame someone for "telling on you" than it is to admit your own transgressions. Finding fault in yourself is something most people have problems doing. I was personally very impressed by one person who was removed from the CU forum. He emailed me and said that although he didnt feel he owed anyone an explanation, he stated that he would like to explain his side to me because he still wanted my respect and his was pretty much an isolated incident when it came to vulagarities and the like. He is of high school age and he admitted that some of his comments were indecent and that speaks volumes for his character.

    You made me laugh on that one.....I have no idea if CJ is a real person or not. Bob and I have only traded once and I have never actually received a PM from CJ only from Bob. I don't know them personally. Bob does indicate that CJ is his son and that they share Cal Ripken card collecting as a hobby they both can work on together.

    As far as I know, Bob could have a split personality disorder and CJ is the other personality:>}.

    Kls...i dont have a problem with you...we had a great trade before, but just because someone cusses or says something offensive doesnt mean they should be kicked off....I mean some peoples ICONS are things that i dont aprove of....For instance there is someone who has a smile face that is waving the middle finger....then you have someone who has a picture of killing osama bin Laden (yes i believe osama should pay but still its a picture of someone getting killed) I say this because im not letting it get to me..These icons can be offensive to me and others, does this mean they should me kicked off of CU? of course not.....I dont see how some can have ICONS like they do and not get kicked but then someone cusses or says something vulgar get kicked....know what i am saying??.....

    I do in fact for one see exactly what you are saying. I cuss myself in every day life. Some days worse than others. The occasional sh!t or dam or ass... its all good. My question is.. at what point does it become unacceptable?? I have seen threats of "raping your Mama".. accusations of same sex oral sex... physical threats of violence... and many other vulgarities. I know its "just the internet" but I would like to think that if someone told you face to face they were going to rape your mother, you would be legitamately upset. I know I would and it would get real ugly after that. I dont mind a little bit of swearing. I am a Navy man turned construction worker and have heard more than my fair share. At the same time, lets admit there is a line, and when that line is crossed in real life there is usually an effect. Why not on the CU forums? Things that crossed that line of acceptability were said, people complained, and they were removed from the site. All things considered, if in "real life" they got off rather easily.

    I'm not trying to make anybody mad either, well just Bobstar, but I have a reason for that. A lot of good people got the old heave-ho because of that old-timer. That makes me mad. And I bet it's just eating old Bobby up that he probably can't find one post that I have used vulgar language in so that he can get me kicked off. I've never talked about doing anything bad to my mother or anything like that. Thats why I challenge him to try to get me kicked off. When he realizes that he can't, maybe that will bring his big powertrip down a couple of notches and he will stop being such a jerk to everybody.l

    2323- get it through your thick skull. Your buddies got kicked off because THEY were vulgar. Not because of anything Bobstar did. All they had to do is follow the rules the rset of us follow. That doesn't seem to be hard for 99% of the members here. Don't blame Bobstar, blame yourselves. It's as simple as that.

    I am the person who was offended by the vulgarity on this board.

    I am the person who banned several users. Not Carol.

    I don’t even know who Bobstar is.

    That type of language and those types of pictures WILL NOT BE TOERATED!

    It seems to be a hard concept for some people to understand that the people booted were done so for their own actions,not the actions of others.

    Would it be possible for a new disclaimer to be posted if the old one is being changed or is there going to be a stricter enforcement of the old one

    Two things jump out at me here:

    1. If there are new rules, please post them...I have no intention of breaking them, and I'd liek to know, and

    2. It seems from what I keep hearing at the other sites that no one is gone from here.

    It is just a matter of time until Freakasaurus is removed from the site as well. They are like gofers in many ways. Takes time to get rid of them. But eventually after the gas, traps and poison they go away and plague someplace else.

    freak..i and others gave u some tips and advice on trading here, its seems though that chatter and post jumpin is more important than trading to you, maybe when u establish a few trades and watch from the stands u may have a idea how it works image

    Please list ALL of these people that got the Boot, I continue to read these crying towel posts and the same people continue to reply, if you get kicked off here, how are you able to continue to reply to these posts?
