Please - CURRENT grey sheet on a MAYBE pr63 1938 pr set?

Someone is trying to tell me the grey sheet on a MAYBE pr63 proof set is 1050 dollars when RED BOOK is ONLY 950.... that doesnt sound right to me.

My newest GS is August 9th, but it gives ask as $950 and bid as $1050. I would expect to pay somewhat less perhaps on a PR63 set. Hope this helps you.
