what's not to like about SLQ's??? especially the bare-breast version!!! ironically i don't own a single one but then i don't own any ferrari's either!
the reason i like the SLQ is because i think it has the best RIM design hands down over all U.S. coins. and it also has some wonderful symbolism incorporated in the design. i like to think of how America's position in the world was growing quite strong at the time when the SLQ's and walkers were designed and that point is reflected by the fact that "liberty" is now not just a bust or seated figure. she is seen standing and walking!!! that's a powerful statement depicted on beautiful coins. i hope it's also the direction our supposed new designs take.
I forgot tot tell you my choice. Well, I voted for the most popular choice, the "topless" Type One Standing Liberty quarter! Ooh boy, love those Type Ones! (although I like Type Two a lot, also.)
