Bad feedback snipers who won't contact you

Don't you just HATE IT when you have an auction getting ready to close....the bidders fighting in out all have exceptional feedback.....the price is growing....gonna get what I hoped for on this one...almost closed, let's see who wins......Hmmmm, haven't seen that bidder before.....OH MAN look at that feedback, it's terrible, oh well we'll see what happens.
And you send out all of your normal messages, and some more, and some more, and the bonehead never even responds to your emails. In the meantime, you have an underbidder ( by $10 ), who wants you to let them know if you have a similar item, or if the winning bidder doesn't follow through (they looked at the persons feedback too). THIS person will send payment via PayPal right away... LOL, some of the people on ebay are wonderful, but some sure are a pain.
Thanks, I feel better now...a little anyway.

This bonehead has 39 negatives and 15 neutrals, and i have OTHER sellers asking me if I have heard anything from him. What a jerk.

Sealyp,
I do not send a note to my buyers, but I do wait until they have left me positive feedback. The reason for that, just because someone actually paid for the item, does not mean they won't become difficult an unreasonable. I have only had a problem with one buyer ( non coin related) and he turned into a psycho after her received the goods. Not because ther was anything wrong with the item, it was because he did a little research after he won the auction, after he paid for it, after I shipped it out...... and discovered he might have paid a little too much for it. I wound up having to send him a $20.00 check ( on a 200.00 item), just to keep him from leaving me a negative feed back. I had done nothing wrong. Needless to say I never left him ANY feedback.
