Whats the difference between a T1 and T2 franklin half

I've read a few threads where these were talked about what are they and how do you get them

Type 1 - the eagle on the reverse is of a lower relief like the eagle on all halves prior to 1956. Estimates are that approximately 3% (20,000) of the 1956 proofs are type 1.

Type 2 - the eagle on the reverse has a higher (more detail) relief like all subsequent halves.

These are two good pictures - as you look at both, look at the detail on the eagle's wings - you'll be able to tell the difference right away.
