1967 TOPPS SET REGISTRY GUYS

I PURCHASED SOME NICE CARDS AT THE NATIONALS WHICH I JUST GOT BACK. I GOT 2 PSA 9 OUT OF THE 10 HIGH GRADE THAT I SENT IN. ALL THE REST ARE PSA 8S. WHAT IS THE PRICE OF A PSA 8 GO FOR? WHAT CAN I EXPECT FOR A PSA 9? ONE OF THEM HAS A POP OF 2.

  • PSA 8 commons go for anywhere from $10 to $25 or more, depending upon how many bidders fight over them. The PSA 9's with avg. populations usually go for $35 and up. The pop. 2 should go for over $100. If the 8's go on ebay, I'll bid on them if I need them.

I am a buyer of 8's ... it all depends on the card. I have seen several 9's go for $200 plus for commons and as low as $75-$80. I would check with Joel, Jim, & Dan on the 9's. They will pay a competitive price for the 9's they need without the hassle of EBAY. I need about 20 commons in PSA 8 and would be happy to pay more than a fair price for the ones I need. You can PM me or email cowart@mindspring.com.

    1954,

This prices of the 8's are driven by population and so are the 9's. The eye appeal also weighs in to the price it will bring. A 50/50 dead centered card with no printing flaws will sell much better than a 60/40 diamond cut card with fish eyes and focus problems.
