We collect coins with pictures of all different people. Wouldn't it be cool to have a coin in your collection that had your own likeness on it?

The question is: Who was the greatest coin collector to be pictured on a coin?

New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.

    I would say King Farouk of Egypt. He had one heck of a collection and his 1933 Saint-Gaudens just sold for 7.59 million.

    I do have an Egyptian coin with his portrait on it. I got it because he was such a collector.
