What did you put, cross at any grade?

An unc 55 doubled die cent, in any grade and any of the Big Three holders, is nothing to cry over ... a nice coin any of us would be pleased to count in our collections!

Sorry to hear that it didn't cross for you, Bill. However, I doubt that PCGS cared much that it was a free attempt since they would likely very much want a coin of that magnitude in their holder.

That is a very good attitude Bill. After all, it is the same coin today as it was yesterday no matter what holder it is in or what is on the insert.

I should do a little background on the coin. I had an MS70 sms 98 kennedy
Mark wanted, and I was looking to do a double die set with Lincolns. We traded
coins and then since it was free, I attempted to cross it.

but as Stu mentioned, its still as awesome today as it was yesturday.
