Avril IS a huge poser...in an interview my sister saw, Avril claims that she "doesn't care if people steal her 'style', because she doesn't pick it herself"....her 'STYLIST' does it for her!

Hence she's a pretty huge poser and I know a punk friend of mine (female) who got called an "Avril Lavigne poser" even though she's dressed & acted that way for years....

I THINK AVRIL SUCKS...

I'd do her though...

Yeah, and she had a fake tat on her arm as well. Sometimes it's there and sometimes it isn't...she's probably the biggest poser EVER! My female punk friend has been wearing ties for years and now Avril thinks she's 'punk' because she's wearing a tie. People are so confused these days.

Spears wore a t-shirt once that said 'punk' on it and I literally want someone to kill that b*tch because she doesn't even know what punk is.

I bet if I asked Avril who the Sex Pistols, The Ramones, The Clash, The D@mned, The Misfits, Rancid, The Distillers, etc etc...are, she probably couldn't tell me because she's a poser...simple as can be.mtv sucks, she's on mtv, she sucks

It's just the fact that she's a poser is what makes it so bad! Have you seen the dudes in her band?! They're just as bad! I mean, I could understand if she dressed all poppy to play along with her poppy mainstream hogwash, but she doesn't...she wants to fit in and she wants to be a 'punk'...give me a break! You don't all of a sudden become a 'punk' in a day. Being punk is not all about dressing is clothing that says 'punk' on it or wearing skateboarder clothing and shoes. I knew a guy from underground Atlanta and he's PURE punk! He wears army boots, jeans, and t-shirts, and he has a mo hawk and he's in his 30's. He's not a poser...he's just who he is and has always been that way. Avril is a wanna-be punk who wouldn't know what punk was if her life depended on it...unless she did some major research.

Honestly, if Avril (or her stylist) is trying to pull off a "punk" look, it's a laughable effort. She's not fooling anybody, except for people completely sans a clue, so who cares?

Punk: formerly a inclusive musical, artistic, and stylistic movement that was about tolerance, now (according to the way "real" punks come off) an exclusive, hyperposessive, hyperprotectionist musical/artistic/stylistic movement that is about sticking one's nose up at all that is not deemed "punk"... makes perfect sense to me

First of all Jeff, before you go jumping to conclusions, please actually READ what I post instead of silly assumptions. I said I had a FRIEND that was punk...not a 'girlfriend' that was punk...there's a big difference there. Read before posting.

Your welcome. I'm glad you actually admitted it. I wasn't trying to hurt your feelings...which is something I could care less about anyway. Why should I care about a "stranger's" musical insight? Well, being the fact that she's a hardcore poser, it's easier to bash them than the actual people who don't try and be something they aren't. I posted something like this even though it isn't sport related because I can...I don't see you going onto other people's threads when it's not sports related and telling them it's not sports related and they shouldn't post it.
