Jefferson Nickels info

Is there a Coin Dealer List for Jefferson Nickels??I can't figure out which issue to order.

Have a lot of Wartime nickels in g4 condition. Are they worth at least 25cents each or less???I only have several in higher grades.

Is there any value (other than 5 cents) for Jefferson nickels from
1950's to the current years. They range in vg8 to proofs.

Thanks for any info you can share.

the wartime's are only 35% silver so you're looking at about $1.10-$1.20 on the dollar. the lower grades don't have much value since the series is generally collected in mint state. proofs are a different story, especially up through the early 60's and the SMS if they are a high grade and/or cameo.

The 35% silver war nickels contain .0563 troy oz each. This gives them
about a quarters worth of silver. There is a large discount on these right
now and 17 cents is about the best you can get and about 23 cents is
the least you can pay. They actually had a premium back in 1980! The
modern nickels mainly have a very nominal value in circulated condition
except for some of the varieties. Even in unc you'll really need high grade
to get up over a couple dollars( with a few exceptions). This is a fun series
to collect and can be done on almost any budget. There are some surprises.
    Good luck. Happy hunting... Welcome.
