I am sorry for this and hope it isn't a bother. I am new to collecting and found this coin and think it is very pretty. Is it a good coin to collect? Thanks!

The coin looks nice, remember that when dealing in raw coins, you have to be very careful as to whether the coin is graded properly, the price is right for the coin, and if the coin is toned naturally or artificially. If you do a search on "Morgan" through the old threads on here I am sure that you'll find out quite a bit about these wonderful coins.

If that is not your coin and you can't veiw it in person I would not trust that picture to be accurate for color. It might be but the blue-purple color of the areas in the picture other than where the coin is make me wonder.
If you are looking for coins to purchase try to avoid raw coins until you become good at grading them yourself.
I would stick with pcgs and ngc graded coins until then.

a) There is not enough detail in the scan to know.
b) In addition to the obverse you need to see the reverse as well in order to make a proper judgement.
c) The lack of colors other than red and blue leads me to believe that the toning is artificial (i.e. someone used a torch on it).
d) If you are referring to the series then my answer would be only if you have deep pockets.
