wow! its the rare silver penny of 1943 worth about one cent!

    Maybe they're buying positive feedbacks?

Things that make you go HMMMMMMMMM............
According to the auction, the seller is from the "Valley of the Rogue". I wonder if he was being autobiographical? I'm off to look for a jar.......

  • $10.51 For that piece of corroded crap? You ask, "Am I missing something?" I don't know if you're missing anything but those bidders are missing their brains.

To think, I only got $9 for a clipped planchet error of the same coin. Maybe it was because mine wasn't corroded?

What else does he have in his "jar OF coins".

looks more like from the top of his battery...
A thing of beauty is a joy for ever
  • I think what you are missing is the chance to make really stupid money on all of the junk steel cents you have.

  • << <i>Now to post my recently discovered hoard of circulated Steel Cents on Ebay >>

Do yours come with a jar?
Buy the coin...but be sure to pay for it.
  • The winning bidder "lineboxer" is either a shill or a real dummy.
But if someone wants to pay $10.00+ for a rusted steel penny, it is his money

  • MADNESS, i tell you,if it where mine it would be in a pcgs holder with no reserve and i bet it wouldnt get to 10 bucks on ebay.

yeah, steel doesn't "tone" very well. one of my cars is "toned", maybe i can get a premium. i'll say "just look at those original toned surfaces - they've never been cleaned!"

hopefully he'll be a coin collector.
