I hate to say it, but 'American Idol' blowed...

Both of them can't sing worth a d@mn. I mean, there's plenty of people I know that can sing just as good or even better than both of them. I hate shows like that anyway...I'm glad it's finally over. I'm not bashing them, because they could sing...but sh*t...who gives a d@mn?! Neither one of them is an american "idol"...esp. not my idol. And, no matter who won, they are BOTH probably going to get a contract anyway. Yeah, Kelly won, but the other dude will probably get a contract as well because you can't tell me NO ONE from other record companies wasn't looking at him without acknowledging the fact that he could sing just as good.

American Idol sucked and sucks just as bad as Survivor does and all other shows like this.

Just my 800 pennies...

    Actually, the company that produces the show has first crack at signing all of the contestants and will undoubtedly sign both Justin and Kelly....as they have already signed Tamyra. I have to agree with you that I don't think that the title "American Idol" is really the best.....they are talented....but our idols....not really.

    I have to disagree with you on the singing though - Kelly showed that she had the kind of voice that could easily be compared (if not better) than some of the most popular singers selling millions of records today. If you know somebody that can sing better then Kelly(keep in mind also that they had to rehearse and sing in front of a live audience day in and out for weeks), you should quit your day job, get them to sign a contract, and become a manager....because you could make some serious dough....

    They were both decent enough singers, and Kelly was a friggin piece of a$s. So good watchin'!

    I'm not really bashing them because they are good singers...but dude...it's not like they're all that. Sh*t, I DO know people who can just as good and or better...maybe I should become a manager. Then, I'd be like the managers from Aerosmith who secretly made it to where they recieve 50% of the finances with certain songs being sung over and over. That'd be pretty horrible wouldn't it...image Yeah, I guess it wouldn't be horrible for me making a killing. Hmm...maybe I should try that.

    Actually, they oughta have a show like american idol that has bands on there that play and try and get to the top. BANDS being guy's who actually play instruments...not like gay boy bands who have been manufactured...but just bands who are really good and looking for a contract. I think that would be interesting...espically if it's rock n' roll. image

    Actually, I don't watch that much tv (other than sports)....but I did catch a couple of episodes including the finale. I can't believe that somebody who posts 30 times a day on this board is suggesting that I do too much of anything.....wake up, it's time for you to get a life:>}.

    As for your other remark inferring that I am gay, I would have to say that my beautiful, sexy wife (who happens to be 22 years old and 10 years younger than me) would be the first to disagree with you along with the other numerous beautiful, intelligent women that I have dated over the years....the closest you could get to some of these women would be the 30-day porn pass that you undoubtedly have purchased for your entertainment.....

    Blowed?? This word does not exist in the English language. Maybe "sucked" or "blew" (past tense of blow) would have been more appropriate.

    I started watching American Idol just to see all the lousy, sometimes funny, tryouts in the first stages of the show. Beyond that the talent was pretty good near the end. The show obviously wasn't aimed towards all age groups but did extremely well with the general public. For the last few days you couldn't flip to MTV, E! , or the local Fox news channel without hearing something about American Idol.

    Fox made their money on the outragous ratings the show recieved every week, so I think their mission was accomplished. Can't blame a network for making money.
    Looking for former University of Arizona NBA RC's in PSA or BGS 9's/GEM MINT grades. Die hard University of Arizona and Bay Area Sports fan.

    I agree with you 100% there, Derrick. Way too much cr@p on tv these days!
