Poll: can the A's pull out #27...

... #27 being the all-time major-league record for most consecutive games won? I say not likely, especially with the way they won the past two or three. But what does everybody else think about this one?

Actually, I don't really know who (or where) they play their next two series. Guess those could be important details... imageimage

  • 3 in Minnesota, then 4 in Anaheim... I'd like to see them do it, but I don't think they will.

  • Actually, 21 is the record for most consecutive games WON. 27 is the record for most consecutive games where they did NOT LOSE. The Giants had a tie somewhere in the middle of that streak, so technically is the A's get to 22 they have the record for most consecutive games won, however the Giants would still posses the most consecutive games w/o a loss. I say the A's get to 22, and then lose in Minnesota, thus establishing themselves with the most consecutive win record.
