HOME RUN SWEENEY!! Holy cow, the A's pitching and fielding has gone to sh*t this game. Now 11-10. I guess the A's are just fooling us and will come though at the end. Maybe a bases loaded top of the 9th when they lead by 1 run, ball hit over the wall and Dye snags it, winning the game like he did in Boston?

Yep, the A's just won their 20th. Home run in the bottom of the ninth. See, I told ya, it was a tease so we could have a huge finish at the end

They pulled it off again in the 9th? Crazy those A's are. I'll have to turn Sportscenter on here in a few.

You see if the A's were facing a good team they would have lost. 11 runs that is way to much to give up. Each game they are hanging on by their teeth. They are playing good even great but they always do this winning streak at the end of the season, but once the playoffs roll around they lose. just my .02.

I never said they would blow it in the offseason. That is almost a given, especially when a team becomes this hot late in the season. Somehow the Yankees will pull it out again. They will get lucky, get a bad call (or if you look at it from a yankee view, a good call) by an ump, or just something that will pull it out for them. Thats all that seems to happen to the Yankees and the Lakers. Its unbelievable. You have the series won and just something strange thats not in your control will happen and you will lose.
