i agree that we should pledge our flag but this country has become a disgrace. there are more people that are illegal aliens alone in new york then any other country in this world. but what does the US government do about it? helps them out, puts them on welfare and takes care of them but meanwhile they refuse to help homeless AMERICAN citizens. everyone looks for the american man to protect our freedom but in 50 years how many of these illegal aliens kids will be looking to defend it? all these foreigners hate america and hate all of us but they are our neighbors. for instance, look at the vietnam war, more americans died there then in any other war now 30-35 years later they are living with us. same goes for WWII and just about every other was that we have been in , so when we pledge our flag we shouldn't be pledging for the current state of the US rather we should be pledging for all those 18 year old kids that have gotten killed in war so that we can have those people who killed them living in our country

First off, most of the people who come here want to be americans. Just cause you see a few idiots on Tv doesnt mean they are all like that. I lived in Los angeles and know and have worked w/ many people who were not born in the us, mostly from mexico, and most if not all of them are greatful to be living here. Also, you dont know much about american history. 58,000 americans died in the vietman war. Not even close to the 400,000 who died in the ww2 and the 500,000 who died in the civil war.
