for the seated coin collectors

Not sure if this is pc for the forum, but I am selling off many of my high-end coins that are not capped, bust, or draped.....I thought some of you might be interested. Shylock has purchased a few of my coins, I think he would be willing to verify that my coins are what I say they are. I have provided the link to the gem 20 cent proof ( hopefully it will link).......from there you can go to the others ( all seated).

I'm sure given the recent board activity this will get moved to the BUY SELL TRADE forum.

  • Thanks for the help in getting the link up. For what it is worth, I am trying to put these coins in the hand of a collector who will apreciate them instead of another ebay'r who will re-sell them. They are special coins that deserve a great home.

  • Bustman, Appears to be a very beautiful coin however you are picking up a lot of glare from the slab on your images. You can usually correct this with a little experimintation changing the angle of the lighting. If this is any indication of the quality coins you are collecting, I would love to see some of your Bust coins.
I am no longer looking for an 1815/2

I have no problem photographing mint state coins, but proofs are difficult. To get the mirrors and colors to show up you almost have to see the light source. Thats why I give a couple of images of each side of the coin fom different angles.
Someday I will share a few images of my favorite bust coins with the forum. Just laying low for now.
I have added a few more coins on ebay, including a Bass coin......... check 'em out thru the original links.

I watch your listings regularly. Beautiful coins.

I saw where the guy that won that gorgeous 3 legged buffalo relisted it immediately and had some huge price increase on it and I believe was claiming it would upgrade. Did it resell?

Not only did he retry to sell it ( which he has a right to)....but he used my images w/o asking me. When I emailed him about it, he told me not to worry about it, that everyone does that. He also told me to think of the extra $50.00 he paid over the underbidder as "payment" for use of my photos.
I was furious. I asked him to remove the auction and refrain from using my photographs. he didn't end the auction, but he has not relisted it............yet. If he does, I will have to decide what action to take.
And no, it did not sell.

    that sure was a beauty.

if he uses your pics again, contact ebay and see if they will do anything.

from all the hype he had in the listing it appeared as though he had no intention other than to try and make a quick buck.

that one blew away my nicely toned NGC AU58 one.

got any lower priced stuff coming up? if so feel free to PM me.

    once again,
    NICE coins!!
  • goose3,
    Thanks for the kind words.
Everything that I have up on ebay at the moment, is it............for now.

    WOW!!!

That 20 cent piece is gorgeous! Now you're tempting me to collect proofs. My favorite coins in the seated series are the 20 cent piece and trade dollar. Since the 20 cent piece denomination was so short-lived, I probably should get the '77 and '78 proofs to round out the set.

    Thanks for sharing the pics!
