I must have missed something. I see that Greg Bussineau, the founder of Superior Sports, is out as president and is now heading a new company - Legacy Rarities. Anybody know what happened? I always found Greg to be fair. Three years ago, I "won" my icon - 1958 Mantle PSA 8 - at a great price from a Superior auction. Unfortunately, after I paid them, I was notified that a "call back" bidder had beaten me and I wouldn't get the card. I asked to speak to Greg personally, and after telling him what happened, he Fed-exed me a better example of the card immediately. I wish him well.

This happened quite a few months ago -- Chris Porter (another very professional individual) is now the head of Superior. All public indications suggest that the split was amicable. I wish them both the best with their pursuits -- and I hope they can both help me out with mine.

Mantlefan-I was surprised how it came about, at least on the website. One day Bussineau is listed and the next day he is not with no mention of what happened. There definately does not seem to be any animosity. Than Legacy Rarities came out with an advertisement in the SMR but I have yet to find out what the company is about. Does anybody know?

I believe legacy is a auction also. The way I heard it Greg just decided it was time to go on his own.

Chris Porter is great to work with. He had called me to let me know of several Pete Rose cards PSA 8 that I needed, worked out a price, and I bought them. He and Lisa are responsive and very professional.

I will most definitely continue to be a customer.
