Is this a fingerprint on the coin?

It appears to be on the coin. What does everyone else think?Link

looks like it. there's also a dark spot on the forehead
  • yes it is, it also looks very (sneeze) spotted. Not a 69
  • I got a coin back recently that had a fingerprint on it. I had to sell it for $30 less then what I could have got out of it.

  • could be a reflection off the slab?
"spare change? Nahhhhh...never have any...sold it all on E-bay..."
see? My Auctions "Got any 1800's gold?"
  • Email Paul from fairtraderz and ask him. I did that with a piece of lint on an Buffalo Nickel slab that looked like a scratch a while back. He was quick with a response, and when I got the nickel, he was, of course, right. image

If you want to buy the coin, why guess?

Dan is right, this seller responds quickly to questions and is honest. And, his pics always look worse then the coin does in reality.

I don't think that is a fingerprint. This looks to me like a coin that grew minting process splooge after it was slabbed. I've seen plenty of late-date Kennedy's with this problem, as well as state quarter proof sets I've gotten in. One entire set of 2002 silvers grew this garbage within a few days after I pulled them from the packaging. Was so disgusted, I spent them at the grocery store.
