Question regarding eBay...
![bradley25](https://forums.collectors.com/applications/dashboard/design/images/banned.png)
I have an auction ending in about 10 hours. I received an email from an individual who is interested in bidding on my auction. He asked if I would ship international. Is there anything I need to know, insurance wise or what not or anything I need to do to protect myself when sending if he wins the auction? Is there added shipping costs for international?
Any help would be great,
Thanks,
Brad

"Stop talking, negotiating,
Your feeble attempts at world peace
Give me a %#@*ing break
Need worldwide genocide, planetary suicide
And when the whole damn world is dead
there's your %#@*ing peace"
a) Global Priority (insured or not.. it's pretty reliable)
or
b) Registered (that way.. he doesn't have to pay taxes.. which is a pretty anoying to do.. I can assure you that)
hope this helps

i also hate being overcharged for shipping. it costs HARDLY anymore to ship a small pakage to australia than it does to send in domestically in the US. i've had to pay $5 before to get a card shipped to me with a bubble envelope + $1.70 postage label. and the card was sent back to me in the top loader i provided with payment! and i know that the envelope didnt cost $3.30. i dont mind paying what the seller lists in the auction description is the int'l shipping charge because i can adjust my bid accordingly, but sometimes it means i have no shot at winning the card for a price within my limits.
the thing i recommend is if you don't know what the cards will cost to ship o'seas, set a firm shipping price that should cover the costs & allows the bidder to know upfront what they'll need to pay in total. $3 for a single card in a top loader is more than adequate. also, put a disclaimer for your own comfort that allows you the right to refuse to sell to int'l bidders with a feedback under 10 or something of that sort.

I agree with you, that would suck if I found a card I liked on another continent, but they would not ship to me.
Thanks everyone,
