50 State Bird Sacagaweas??? Coin World Article

I read in my most recent issue of Coin World that there is a proposal to perhaps mint a redesign of the Sacagawea reverse to include all the birds from the 50 States.

If it does happen, would the current set be a "short set" or would there be a continuation of the series?

And, more importantly what would happen to the values of the existing high grade registry sets that are out there now? Do you feel they would increase or decrease?

I have a high grade Sac set 2000-P, 2000-D, 2001-P in MS68 and 2001-D in MS67. My heart just isnt in this series to obtain the Millenium and Goodacre dollars and was interested to know you think this set is headed.

With the way Congress has been lately with the hint of coinage redesign, I think the first bird honored should be the Dodo bird, not honoring a state, but Congress themselves
