hmm it's authenticity is questioned... i can't wait for the Pattern guys to chime in.

btw I have a few pattern questions, if someone "in this field" can PM me i'd appreciate it.

It's probably been miscataloged over the years as one of the gilt copper J-656's. Just like that 2nd known Pacific Co gold dollar that was in the Coin world two weeks ago has been sold several times in the last sixty years as a gilt silver specimen.
