Blue Nickel Any nickel 2 scans added

I just got this in one of those so called unopened proof sets. I never saw a nickel this blue before. I scanned it above a normal nickel I am used to seeing. Any opinions or grading appreciated. The nickel is beautifull I have never had one this nice. The lines are in the plastic. Should I open it and get it graded? Thanks for any help. Rick2 nickels the top is the blue Look at doubling heredouble letters? The coin actually looks blue like the one at the top in the plastic, I couldn't get the scan to show the blue as nice in the scans of it out of the plastic, scroll down to see the pics out of the plastic. If I were to send this in for grading should i do anything to it like rinse it off with something before I do?

It's a beaut! As far as grade, no way to tell from that scan.

It is a beaut, but blue nickels such as that are on the fairly common end of the toning spectrum, as far as nickels go. Grading proofs is very very tough, and impossible from a scan, and even more than impossible from a scan inside the mint cellophane! Although it does look to have some rim damage on the right but that too could be just the scan.
If you'd consider selling, send me a PM. I don't normally like toned coins but this is one exception.

I think it's really nice. Here's a picture of the one I have - the lighting is kinda funky, but it's solid blue. I might just start collecting these cause they're pretty!

aren't they great when they are blue? I have several in sets with great color. Multi colors to just ole fashion blue. One set yielded a blue nic, and a purple cent. Love the colors. I only have a scanner, so I cannot cature color well. Would like to be able to, as a few are worth selling.
