1942-P what do ya'll think 'bout the grade?

Last time i will post a grading question for a while. Anyway need some help with this one, i'm not real great at grading when it gets into the MS grades. Thanks for the help!!!

P.S. the spot under the N in cents is not on the coin its on the holder

Looks Nummy - I don't see any detracting marks - MS66 perhaps?

Does the coin have luster is real life?
Is the rim dinged at about 10 o'clock on the obverse or is it the picture?
It looks pretty mark free but the reverse seems to lack strong detail.

If the first question is yes then I would guess 65
If no then 64 would be my guess.

No the rim isn't dinged it's part of the 2x2 i have it in

My guess is MS66. The coin looks like it has prooflike surfaces but it is difficult to tell from the pictures.

Hey Frank, you say the coin has proof like surfaces. But the fields seem frosty, they don't seem like mirrors. By proof like do you mean the frosty devices? I haven't seen many very nice mint state Jeffs. Perhaps that will change if I ever get to see your collection?

I would also guess MS66. It probably is FS. Most of the 40s were struck strong and many high grade examples exist with FS.
