superb gem mintstate outrageous toned seated dime

1886 ngc ms67 this coin is a no brainer 68 coin that one of the leading crackout artists submitted three times in a row a couple of years or so ago looking for a 68! this coin will one day be in a 68 holder at pcgs/ngc!

the surfaces border on perfection and with the colors this coin is extremely rare. much moreso than its proof counterparts! the lustre underneath the toning just booms through with great intensity.

the obverse has bullseye toning rose amber violet to a pale white center with the reverse red orange aqua to white rims!! the coin is fully struck i mean really 100% fully struck and this coin is a MONSTER!

THIS PHOTO VASTLY UNDERRATES THIS COIN and must be seen in person to be fully appreciated

this coin is in a private eastern collection and i have seen this coin in person and the thoughts expressed as above are my own

PLEASE SEE THIS COIN BELOW on brian itsnotjustme post!!! thanks again BRIAN for all your help!!!!!!!!!1
sincerely michael

  • Hi Michael,

If you want to see the ULTIMATE outrageously toned mint state Seated Dime go to Ebay and search for item # 1376296239 (I don't know how to do links or I would have). Anyway, it's a exquisite PCGS MS66 (definitely UNDERGRADED!!!!) 1888 Seated Dime that I believe will knock your socks off. I'd be interested in your comments.

    Best Regards,

    Mike

  • You are welcome. It is nothing really. When I read your post I opened a second window. I went to eBay. I cut the number from your post by selecting the number then pressing Control C. Then I clicked in the search window of eBay and pressed Control V. Voila! There was the number. I clicked search. Voila! There was the auction. I went to the Address field in my broswer, selected then pressed Control C. Then I replied to your post and clicked on the http button on the top of the Message Text: screen. Then I pressed Control V and Voila! There was the address of the eBay auction. Whew!!! That was so much harder than I thought it was when I was doing it! I've been screwing around with computers for so long it just seemed natural...

mike! that coin the 1888 is nothing short of superb! it is one of the finest toned seated dimes i have ever seen and it is TOTALLY ORIGINAL!!!!!!!!

there are certian aspects of this seated ms dime! that are no brainer original great toning charactistics SHARED BY THIS COIN AND OTHER FANTASTIC TONED fully original coins! i can see why pcgs graded this coin only a 66 when it is a 67!!

pcgs doesnot like medium toned coins just like the proof 65 seated half i have medium toned..... the half is really a no brainer 66 plus coin

and with your dime medium toned it is a no brainer 67 coin!! a very nice 67 to boot
and with the extra rarity of not only great toning but an ms coin to boot!! two qualities that puts it in the great category!!

there are five types of coins

    1 crappy coins
    2 average coins
    3 good coins
    4 very good coins
    5 great coins

only buy great coins! this coin the 1888 dime is a GREAT COIN!

this coin will one day be in a 67 holder!

    sincerely michael
