Is NGC truly a better buff grader, or is it coinincidence?

Long story short (will talk about the coin show later), I saw today at the coin show most buffs were in NGC holders...

Do they tend to grade more consitently with the series?
Do more buff collectors like them?
Is it all a coinicidence?

I know that PCGS brings more, BUT... there just happened to be a lot more in NGC slabs

I had to redo this reply a couple of times. I have always been told if you don't have anything nice to say, bite your lip, or in this case, keyboard. CCCRRUUUNNNCCCCHHH!

I happen to know why at least one large inventory of Buffs you saw today was in NGC holders and not PCGS holders and that was simply for convenience. Until very recently NGC was headquartered in Parsippany, NJ and this happens to be where the show was located. A number of dealers who have tables at that show would go to NGC for generic coins because of the convenience and associated turnaround time.

PCGS will not slaughter another of my buffalos.

Only NGC for buffs for some time now and will continue to use them.

sounds convincing to me... NGC is a good choice (and boo them for moving from NJ!)

i do not know but show me a specific ngc/pcgs slab with a buff in it and i will let you know if it is a crappy, average, good, very good or great coin!!!!!!!!
