I've just learned some exciting news about forum member Toningintheblood and wanted to let everyone know. Effective 16 September, Dale will start a new career with Spectrum Numismatics in their Wholesale Sales Division! He's replacing Thad Olsen who is moving on to PCGS as a grader.

Some of Dale's responsibilities include travel to most major shows where he'll participate in dealer-to-dealer transactions....and of course, learn the business! I've known him for about a year or so and I know that he's going to be an asset to Spectrum.

This is a wonderful opportunity and I'm sure a long time dream of many collectors.....to be immersed in coins. While I'm sure that there will be many 'changes' as Dale moves from the role of collector to dealer, both the hobby and Spectrum will be winners!

Seriously, this new position should not only allow you an opportunity to greatly expand your numismatic knowlege(although I think you're pretty knowlegable already) but I imagine you will also have a tremendous opportunity to have first shot at lots of fresh new material that major players like Spectrum are always locating.
