People price thier own cards. It's understandable for a 2-color jersey or something, because it carries a premuim. But when a card books at $30, but they want $50 in trade, because it's numbered or something. It's stupid....

I think it is just human nature. People usually think what they have is worth more then it is...

What I dislike is when someone takes offense at your offer when they feel it is not enough. And offer is just an offer, decline it, accept it or counter it. But to get mad at someone for making an offer is stupid. If the bidder would have gone higher you will never know because they do not want to deal with you anymore...

No..Not at all....I've just seen some post on various boards about this card is my favorite, or it's numbered to his birthday or some crap like that....

I say if it's your favorite...Dont trade it....Or trade it for a card, that will be your favorite....

People can ask what they want for a card.

Beckett is just a guide to give you an idea of what a card usually sells for. Nothing more.
Should an eBay auction be stopped if/when the item reaches book value?

Besides a lot of becketts prices are not on point.

Like Mik said, Becket is a guide and should be used as just that. Something is only worth what someone else will pay for it, or in this case trade for it.
