I would agree that there are some signs of cleaning but most seated dollars fall into that category. Worth VF money overall IMO. Some of the highpoint toning has been scrubbed off. The remaining odd dark spots give it a less than pleasing look. I bought a fully orig. and uncleaned 1842 in EF 2 years ago for $260 and thought I got a deal as the coin had the detail of a 45-50 coin. After trying to make $15 on this for a year I gave up and dumped it for $250 to a friend of mine. He tried for a long time to sell it too and finally got $260! My point is that unless there is something special about the coin you love, there are nicer ones down the road. This is a $200-225 coin IMO as long as the cleaning is only minor. Maybe circ seated dollars will become hot down the road as bust dollars finally did.
