Binion pedigree means crap on an ACG holder

Half way down this guys way to long sales pitch he says all Binion coins have been graded by NGC (its in red, you can read it) then you scroll down to find this coin in an ACG holder. CRAP

MS66? Does the fingerprint on the add to the mystique? I am sick to death of hearing about the Binion hoard. It appears to me from what I have seen that everything the guy had was just a bunch of circs from the slots in his casino. Nothing special about that, sure, he had 100,000+ silver dollars (I wish I did) but that doesn't make them special. It's a 1896 in xf condition not ms66.

The fingerprint WOULD add to the mystique if this was the fingerprint that solved the murder case!

I came to the conclusion that there was little meaning to the Binion pedigree when I saw the fat carnival barker and his midget stooge sidekick selling bags of the coins on TV.

gotta echo the sentiments, who cares about binion??? isn't a binion a foot problem, anyway? hey, maybe those are toe prints, not fingerprints!!!

    From the verbiage:

"All coins from the Binion Collection have been graded and encapsulated in special holders by the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation, NGC"
    .....

"In this auction I am offering one of ONLY 14, yes, that's ONLY 14 1896 Binion Morgan $'s out of his entire collection. This coin even has the HIGH GRADE of MS66 graded and certified by ACG. Why in the earth someone would have this coin crossed over to ACG from the original NGC holder beats me (really, whoever crossed this coin over was probably trying to get a higher grade than NGC gave the coin). I personally think the strike is just a little too weak to justify the MS66 grade, but would be a solid MS65."

It looks like it crossed from NGC 58
