Hoping For Some Nice Ones

Well, I haven't been buying many raw coins lately, but just made a deal. This will sound like an e-bay story.... my wife's friend's workmate inheritted a coin collection from her grandmother... When she told my wife's friend, she put her in touch with me. I told her the basics about coins, and she came back with a list of what she had. Nothing exceptional... typical small time hobby collector stuff. Late 60s to mid 70s proof sets, Whitman folders with keys missing, rolls of common circ mercs, a handful of low grade Barbers, Indians, etc. Best single coin was a circulated Stone Mountain half.
I decided to buy 8 1976 silver mint sets for $12 each. (She made 1 free for my help). A check an a old grey sheet weekly & monthly are off to her tomorrow. I'm hoping to find a couple nice coins in the lot, as I know these haven't been picked over (by someone like me).
p.s. I did tell her on the off chance she had a super high grade in on of the sets, it could be worth hundreds. She knows that's what I'm hoping to do.
Wish me luck! I'll tell you all what I find when they arrive.
