Applause please: BNE has just registered the first PR 42-P DCAM Jeff, first pre-50 DCAM!

Some credit where it is due: BNE has just posted the lone DCAM 42-P Type 2 silver war nickel in his already-amazing set! A PR-66 DCAM, it also is the lone pre-1950 Jeff proof to be graded DCAM by PCGS. The first coin off the die, perhaps ... A salute to this true numismatist. I am so pleased a coin of this caliber is in the set of a dedicated Jeff man. Way to go ... unbelievable coin! And, I may be honored with an image that BNE said I could share with the board. Here is the set listing:

Amazing - I just today was e-mailing with David Hall asking him if ANY D Cams existed for the proofs between 1936-1942. He e-mailed me that he had seen some dimes.

I believe this is the first D Cam between 1936-1942 of any denomination!!!!!

    CONGRATULATIONS
