he is a piece of shlt. my cousin and i went to the unc alumnai vs. the other acc star game last sunday. it was great. at the end of the game, most of the players signed autos. it was great, got like 10 autos. when my cousin and i, as well as like 100 other people, came up to vince carter for an auto, he told everyone "no, i don't want to give any autographs, get away from me." how rude. i mean, he was the best player out there, it wasn't like he played bad or anything. also, i found out that rasheed wallace doesn't sign plain blank paper, like the side of an index card without lines on them. from my stand point, carter is nothing but a mf.

people like that get on my nerves man....if it wasnt for the fans then they wouldnt be nothing....i cant stand players like that...(another reason why i like jay williams)cant stand players like marbury,garnett,even mj gets like that from time to time...to be honest when im playing ball ,kids who know me often comes up to me and ask me to show them something.....i dont mind cause the children are the future....doesnt hurt to take 5-10 minutes and spread some knowledge to the little kids...forget you vince.....

players get paid millions of dollars, so why can't they give autographs? now that they are super stars, they are suddenly better than everyone else? come on! if there are 1,000 people who want carter autos, at least 100 should get them, or some at least. but not giving a single one away is just bad. for that reason, i have given up collecting vince carter (even buying and then selling for a profit) cause he's not worth it anymore. i had two game used (each bv at $50) and one auto (bv $250). i sold them all at my local card shop for $150. not bad. but his cards went from my personal collection to the trash collection.

I met Carter a few times. First time was in his rookie season, he would sign just about anything, very cool and fun to talk to. I met him a couple times after his famous dunk competition and he was a completly different person. He absolutly refuses to sign anything. I think that they just don't want to sign because they will gather a crowd and have to stick around for the next few hours signing stuff. Don't know any other excuse. If it was me I'd sign for every freaking person that asked...why because you totally owe it to the fans, if it wasn't for them, no paycheck.

By the way met Shaq and the guy is amazing. Man does he ever have big hands, freaking overlapped mine when he shook my hand.

ttt, vince carter has lost my respect for him. post any other player who don't sign. i can understand while the man is eating, but this is a fun game, not even a nba game, this was suppose to be for the fans.
