I have four slabbed coins purchaised in September of 1987 as a part of a portfolio coin program. They are clear slabs with white inserts and on the back they have: U.S. TANGIBLE INVESTMENT Corporation

The coins came with a grey binder and pictures and get this, with a invoice. Check out what these good folks paid for these coins:

Sept. 14th 1987

1925 ms 63/63 st. gaudens $20.00 gold.......... $1150.00
1904 ms 63/63 LIBERTY $20.00 Gold................ $1440.00
1932 MS 63/63 Indian Head $10.00 gold........... $2220.00
1880 S ms 64/64 Morgan Dollar..........................$250.00

This poor lady spent $5,000 on these coins.

Anyone know about these guys: US Tangible Investment Corporation??

Where is the best place to sell these coins??????

I think they had-have something to do with Heritage.

Here is a link to the US Tangible Investment Corporation web site.

Amusingly U.S. Tangible notes that their independent auditors are Arthur Andersen & Co. This point on their web page really speaks volumes about how often the web page is up-dated, which likely speaks volumes about the amount of business the company is doing. And no, I don't think they are too busy to up-date their web page.

Sell them on eBay or let Heritage sell them at the long beach auction. Heritage is hard up for material anyway.
They are offering +5% over hammer price now.
