lol... well yeah I suck at algebra, now who cant figure that out... I can make all A's in all my classes except this class... I understand a lot of it but stuff like this is hard for me
Solve for "F"
C = 5/9 ( F - 32 )
I know I have to get the F by itself...
and I got by order of operations, which the ( ) would be first... so do I divide or what?
I posted new problems at the bottom

Multiply by 1
Add 32
then subtract 5/9
That would be F= C+31 4/9
but then again its been along time lol
but there was only 1 problem with this type of stuff

do the reciprical of 5/9, which makes 9/5 and put it on the C side... and change the sign of the - 32 to + 32 on that C side?
but not sure if its correct everytime

Solve for "F"
C = 5/9 ( F - 32 )
1) Multiply both sides by 5/9
2) Add 32 to both sides
3) answer should be F=(5/9)c-32

is swap the stuff, C = 5/9 ( F - 32 ) u just switched..
1) switch letter position
2) reciproal 5/9 to 9/5
3) switch the sign to a negative since postive.

I need to figure out how to set up equation
25) You have a leaky faucet at home that fills an 8 ounce glass (0.03 gallon) in 12 minutes.
How much water would drip from this faucet IN ONE YEAR?
27) An average 10 minute shower uses 50 gallons of water.
In a YEAR, how many showers are "lost". ?

i'm 13 and i'm helpin you ...
you need to find how many mintues are in a year...
12 min x 5 = 60 minutes (1 hr.)
60 min (1 hr.) x 24 = 1,440 mins (1 day)
1,440 (1 day) x 365 = 525,600 minutes (1 year)
now.... the trickier part
8 x 12
n x 525,600
find the value of 'n'... you people can do that...
hope that helps
