Thanks everyone for your input into my Morgan that I posted yesterday. I had thought MS 63 since she has that scratch on her neck.

Now I have a Peace--1923 S. Confirm my grade, please! Thanks! I'm learning from you all.!!

64-65. I would get that one pcgs or ngc graded. The price for one grade is alot.

63-55.00 64-206.00 65-3,940.

If it sells raw on eBay I doubt people will be willing to risk more than 63 money on it.

It appears washed out and the coin marks above the date (to the right) kill you chance for Choice/Gem status.
The "S" mints though are fun coins and it's great to find these in UNC.

I'll go 63 - shot at 64 - mainly because I think (may be the pic) I see quite a bit of chatter both on the obverse and the reverse, plus there's the scratch between the bust and the date that I think would keep it out of any higher range IMHO.

It does have that over-dipped look to it but it might just be the picture if so I would say 64. mike

Check the luster, the cheek and the eagle's right wing don't look right, I'm saying AU from the scans.

Its a nice looking coin, I would guess 63.....but Peace Dollars are tough for me to grade even in person, let alone from a scan

Again, thanks so much. My dad had a lot of raw Peace and Morgans, and I'm trying to learn to grade them. I just feel so lost now!

ms-62. sugestion: remove the coins from the flips before scanning. it seems to be affecting the colors.

The obverse looks 64 easy, Im sure the reverse is better than it appears!
