A dealer has to work his angle to even make it above the expenses of the business. Have stuff the competition doesn’t have. Have a good high markup area - enabling nifty fifty, keystone. Bill went to world coins said he couldn’t make money on US bc they all had a greysheet in their hip pocket. Danny makes more money on currency than coins. Moves a lot of it at keystone. Aggressively Pursue estates. Be thick skinned - don’t let , dunces who know nothing about the biz, and looky looks bug you. Do not let your nice stuff go for chump change. Be careful of low markup bullion - it can go south in a heartbeat. Then its 5 pct spread won’t save you from drowning.
