Is anyone considering doing any of these sets for the Set Registry? I looked at these sets and thought they would make candidates for the following reasons.
#1 Doable set size. These sets are usually no bigger than 240 cards.
#2 Ability to put the set together in high grade (9 or better)
#3 Good amount of inventory available
#4 Shortprinted rookies (ranging from 999-2000 depending on year) caps amount of sets that can be put together.
#5 Attractive designs and sets cotain primarily stars.
I think with these factors, and the fact that many collectors collect players and not sets thus further limiting the amount of shortprints available for sets, make these the ideal modern set for the registry. Any other opinions on this?
