2002 Silver Proof Set question..

How long will these likely be available.
I remember the last two years the silver sets were on sale for a good long time.
Would this year be any different?

I doubt it would be any different than previous years, and I think those lasted well beyond year end. Even so, I would order earlier so you have plenty of extra sets available to exchange the crappy ones they send you the first time!

Was looking at the mint web-site and its says`Product will be available for shipping 09/25/2002.`

Are they back-ordered because of the initial mad dash from dealers and collectors to have these sets,and/or
from the switch to the improved plastic holders?They did discontinue the old ones I read.That too could hender prompt shipping I suppose.
