you only can within 2hrs after u placed it

if you scroll down to the bottom of the auciton, it will tell you how, or you can go to help, and type : How do i cancel my bid, and it will tell you how

jbugs, you can retract you bid all the way up till a few hours before the auction ends, unless they changed the rules within the last few days,

i tried to retract a bid a couple months ago and it wouldnt let me because it said i was only allowed 2 hrs after to retract bid.
