Is this the way PCS submissions work?

I have a penny, gold coin, and a "free" submision to go in the same box.calling PCGS,I must submit on three separate forms, and pay three separate shipping and handling charges. The "free" will cost me $11.50+.added tgether, these modest coins will cost at least $36.50 to ship to me,not to mention $45 in grading fees and shipping there. I am a gold member, for what it's worth. I have a modern to go,but forget that at another $10+11.50.Bulk is the only way,I guess, but how many 1955 coins are worth a "free" 11.50 grading?

Yes that is how it works. Submitting one coin per form is expensive because of the postage fee's.
  • Well in this case you could submit the 55 and the penny on the same form, the goild would have to be seperate, so you could have the 55 and the penny graded for $30.00 + 12.50 shipping.
