Wooden Storage Boxes FT or FS

You may remember awhile back when I first joined this forum I mentioned that I am also into hobby woodworking and one of the things I came up with was nice looking wooden storage boxes for cards. I finally got around to throwing up a quick little webpage with an example:

Wooden Storage Boxes

My idea is to custom build these in return for cards that you may have for trade. I will sell them, but I figure most of you would be willing to trade more than pay cash!!! I can build them just about however you like them, all we have to do is come to an agreement.

I'm working on another Trade/Want list. I'm always looking for Ripken, and I'm currently working on an ungraded 1975 Topps Baseball set.

Any feedback is appreciated. Also, if you have any questions or requests please let me know. If you are interested, email directly with the link on the page, or lmk here. I usually build these one at a time, and I don't want to "take orders" for more than one or two at a time so I don't get backed up.

Also, please LMK if I screwed up the link process! I think I got it right though!
Thanks,
Scott

i was asking the same thing..no reply!!!!! as of yet that is...plmk, would make a good xmas gift!!!
  • Sorry, I was out for awhile...
For that exact box I would ask $35-$40 BV or a little less in cash. I just figured most folks have plenty to trade. I'm including a rough estimate for shipping but it depends on where you are and how you want it shipped. Probably take me 1-2 weeks once we make a deal. I'm looking for Ripkens or 1975 Topps.
    Thanks,
    Scott

  • Could you build one like a 600 count box but wide enough to hold card in toploaders ? Do you see what im sayin? I want one big enough to hold like 140 cards in top loaders for my 86-87 Fleer Set
  • Should be no problem but let me look at the measurements and I will get back to you as soon as I can. The box in the picture is made of nominal 1" pine, so I assume that's what you are interested in?

  • Colt, for your reference the box in the pic holds 330 top loaders comfortably, but not jammed in. Are you interested in a single column box that would hold your set?
    Thanks,
    Scott

  • TYPO alert: I edited my above message. The box in the pic holds 330 top loaders, NOT 530!!!! It holds 165 in each row.
    Thanks,
    Scott

  • Colt, for 140 Top Loaders I come up with an inside length of 10-1/2" and an outside length of 12". Is this what you have in mind?
    Thanks,
