well, i don't know both sides of what happened yet, but I did a business deal with chillibbij a couple of weeks ago and everything went fine. He even threw in some free-bee's for me. I've not had any problems with him. He may have just thought you didn't want to trade/sell because you didn't answer right away. Some of the sellers/traders/buyers on here are like that. I'd say wait till you get both sides before jumping down chillinbij's throat. Hopefully he'll come on here and explain what happened before he gets a bad rap.

Okay, first off I'am not jumping down anyones throat. Also, He may be a great dealer, I don't know......I never said he wasn't. So the fine deal you had with him, great.....I'am happy for you. But people have a life away from the computer ( I do anyway). And for him to ask me to come down on the price, which I did....then he was like we have a deal, he could send money that day, if we sent same time. We didn't swap addy's or anything of that nature, then to get that PM when I got home from work, that was pretty pathetic to me. Am I to stay on the computer all day and wait for a reply, if you can't answer that I can........NO. And as far as him getting a bad rap, what bad rap? If he's a great trader, etc. then everything will be fine, I'am not trying to give him a bad rap, it was funny that I got that pm, and I wanted to just be aware on deal with him. Wait and don't send right away if he changes his mind.

Oh, and thanks for your 2 cents worth......

I agree with baberuth, chillin is an excellent trader, i had no problem dealing with him, his cards were sent right away, and he acted nothing but professional throughout our trade.

I never implied YOU jumped down his throat. I simply said before anyone does. I'm sorry your getting so defensive over my reply, but I meant nothing wrong towards you or anyone else here. I was just letting you know I've done business with him and he's usually a pretty good business guy. And as far as me putting my two cents in, that was really immature. The whole idea of putting a post on this board is for people to read and respond to them. I think your a little edgy about the deal and totally misinterrpreted my reply. Take it easy. No one's downing you. I just simply wanted to let you know I'd done business with him and he usually follows through. And no one says you have to stay on the computer all day or night. I too have a life other than the computer, but if I make a deal with someone on here, I wait an extra few minutes until the deal is complete before I get off. But that's just how I do business. Anyway, I wasn't meaning you in specific when I said wait before jumping down his throat. So chill out a little.

hes an absolute idiot! he comes on here wanting to trade, but all he has is $3-5 cards...and he kept trying to peddle those ridiculous 88 topps baseball commons worth 8 cents each for i dunno how long, maybe a month or two...what happened here with vincesanity, one of the best traders on the board, coming from that moron doesnt surprise me at all.

People are not allowed to trade if they only have $3-$5 cards?!?!? Why not?
Some people actually have a life outside of card collecting & dosnt spend $200+ on cards every month.

why did i back out of the deal, well, here it is. vincesanity took 45 minutes to one hour to respond to each of my pm's. a deal should be done in 20 to 25 minutes, not 6 hours. if you have a problem with me, then fine. but as to my 25+ ref's, they all say that i'm a good trader.


vincesanity: i'm sorry that i backed out, but as a seller/trader, you must stay online and finish the transaction. i hated waiting for your pm's every 45 minutes to one hour. i can't waste time like that.

The fact that Skivermont and vincesanity, 2 of my favorite people on this board speak out against Chillin is enough for me. He's an idiot. Also, the kind of posts he makes - such as expecting people to tell him secrets of what cards will go up soon - just shows he's just an impatient little kid with no real understanding of the hobby.

And yes mik, people w/ $3-5 cards are allowed to trade, but it does get pretty dang old when you put up an $80 card for trade, and the half the PM's you get are from people where the highest price card on their tradelist is like a $15 floor card. Anyone, with any level of cards, can trade here, but they should use some common sense.

check this out: vincesanity deleated his entire first post on this thread because it said "we really never made the acually deal," which was said from vincesanity on the beginning of this thread. now he wants pm's? why do you want pm's? vincesanity, if you had told me you are at work, that would be perfectly fine by me and i would have waited, but you didn't, and i only saw on a little symbol on your profile that says "user is online." so i waited and waited, but six hours is too much time to waste on a single $10 trade/cash deal.
