  • Nope the coins are cheap... The Shipping is at least $6.50...

Bad selling... I didn't bid on 2 coins because of shipping...

    Oh well,

Fairtraderz offers tons of auctions and they do leave feedback for each and every win.

Is Fairtraderz the guy who advertizes PCGS boxes for sale in EVERY category?
  • Does he charge $13.00 For shipping???

  • They're a pretty good outfit Rusty - but more on the high end of the spectrum. Every once in a great while they'll have a good deal, but most of the time they'll have a coin YOU want and you'll either get it at their price or wait - other than that they're good - good return policy.

  • My only issue is: To send a slab 1st class w/ insurance does not cost $6.50...

I'm sure they sell quality, all I was saying was because of the shipping I didn't bid, but if I did
bid I would outbid the high bidder and probably make the seller more money on the coin vs. S/H/I

  • I wouldn't be so sure that their Ebay coins they sell are such great quality. The sheer mass of their listings, coupled coins that don't look so hot IMO for the prices they ask makes me shy away from them. The coins they call monster toned are so numerous, it gets redundant looking at brown mottled toned coins that they offer. BTW, they were also the seller of the 1974-S PCGS PR70 DCAM Kennedy half that is obviously overgraded.

I think if proper detective work were done, youd see that this is another ebay account of his
    probably used for shill bidding.

I bought an awesome rainbow toned Jefferson Nickel from them. The coin was simply amazing. As for the shipping costs. When you receive the coins, you have to sign for them, which costs extra money.

  • Check some of the cmt33 auctions and see if Fairtaderz ever listed them again--if so, then get nervous.

I don't know Fairtraderz personally but I know the company is a large coin wholesaler in CA.

New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.
