I just saw a post in the buy-sell forum where someone wanted to buy 9-11 coins.

Are they out yet?

    He's referring to the coins that were offered here on the board shortly after 9-11. They are NY state quarters in a PCGS slab with a special slab insert, and the money raised was donated to the Firefighters. The slabs were individually numbered.

    New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.
