I'm running a Minolta Dimage S404 with 4.0 Mrga Pixels. I have not been able to find an adapter for the Macro lens yet so I have waited until yesterday to pick up some lenses. Now, I have to hold the lens in front of the camera to take the pictureimage

The settings for this shot is as follows:
Imige Size 640X480
Quality: Standard
Digital Zoom: On
Light: Desk Lamp with my hand blocking the direct light
Backround: Black Micro Fiber lens cloth

If you would like additional info please let me know and I will post in future shots.

Thanks for your opinions, good bad or otherwise,
Ray and cat

Notes:
I'm realizing I need a stabalizer for the camera, the camera comes with an anti-shock thingamazoom but some of the images are still comming out blurry.

Also, when the camara self focuses, I am noticing that I can adjust the camera a little to get a better focus. (Focus is done by half pressing the button, when it locks on the image, I can move the camera a 1/4 inch or so to better focus the image)

I plan on making a base of some sort, so I can slide the coin in and take the same quality photos every time. (That is once I am happy with the pics)

Here is a close-up of the same coin.

Do you think a photo of this caliber is registry qualified?
  • Ray they look a little washed out try a little less light.

  • Second image looks much better. Not because of background change but it is in better focus. I think a tripod is a must and they aren't very expensive.
Buy the coin...but be sure to pay for it.

the pic's look sharper at the center, fading to a fuzzy look at the edges. can that be adjusted? or is it my computer?
