The guy that caught bonds 600th home run ball is getting taken to court... By three of his ex-freinds. They had season tickets and gave him the chance to go to the game because they diden;t want to go that day. But now that he caught the ball they say that they should get 25% of the profite from selling the ball. It dose;t matter if they guy dosen;t want to sell the ball or not they want him to sell it and split the money 4 ways. The reason they clame that they should get 25% is that they say that they had a verbile agrement that if he caught the 600th home run ball that since they gave him the ticket he had to sell and split it 4 ways. Of course I don;t belive that there are thousands or even hunded thousands of people at that game who would think that he would have caught that ball its almost astronomical its like 1 in a billion chance. The reason there takeing him to court is that they clame to have a verbile agreement and in calie a verbile agreemet is leagle. I belive he should pay for the ticket they gave him if he didn;t have to pay for it. but not have to split the money if he even dose sale the ball. It just sounds like to me that those so called freinds are just greedy. the probly as soon as the knew he was the one that caught it were trying to come up with a way to take him to court so they could cash in on it as well.

If I was the guy and they sued me, I would sell the ball to someone for $5 just to tick them off and send them a check for $1.25
